Sony HDCAM 124 Minute Large Shell
Our HDCAM Digital Cassettes incorporate Sony's advanced metal tape
technology for use in the world's first HDCAM format camcorder. The
development of this high performance metal tape enabled high density
recording with a wavelength of 0.49um achieving a recording length of
up to 40 minutes for the small-size cassette, and 124 minutes for the
large-size cassette. (In 60i mode - longer in 24P mode)

particles 50% smaller thatn used in Digital Betacam yielding crisp HD
